We’re just about a month away from the start of the Come-See-Me Festival and plans are well underway for the over 80 events and activities that will take place. But there’s just one thing missing—you! One of the things that makes Come-See-Me so special is its volunteers. While many of our events are fully staffed, we still need your help with several events.
- Come-See-Me Road Races (Saturday, April 22): If you’re an early bird, this is the event for you! This year, the races are back in downtown by popular demand. Our runners are excited about this change and are looking forward to a fun and fast race. Volunteers are needed at registration, along the race route, and at water stops.
- Hops at the Park (Saturday, April 22): Come be a part of this new Come-See-Me event! Hops at the Park will bring the best craft beer in the Carolinas to Fountain Park for the afternoon and evening. Volunteers ages 21 and up are needed to work in the beer garden and at the beer trucks to pour and check IDs. You’ll get to see lots of people and make this event one to look forward to for years to come.
- Moonlight Jazz & Blues (Friday, April 28): Enjoy the mellow sounds of amazing musicians while you welcome people to a fun Friday night at Winthrop Lake. Volunteers are needed for setup and to work at the gates.
- Tailgate Party & Fireworks Extravaganza (Saturday, April 29): The Come-See-Me Festival goes out with a bang at the Tailgate Party and Fireworks Extravaganza. As thousands descend on Winthrop Lake for an evening of music, food, and socializing, volunteers will work the gates and help with cleanup.
